I’m going to have to ponder on this one and replay the last few days in my mind at half speed. Im sat just over the border with a nice bunch of “colleagie” having crawled our way though the morass that is a border crossing, having a coffee before hitting the bunk.
I flew back to the UK to get some bits sorted out and ended up 2 molars short for my trouble but that was offset by meeting some new and lovely people and the level of kindness and help that has been given.
Jenny is 72 and would make an awesome debt collector, between her and her friend Lisa they have obtained a small fortunes worth of invaluable kit for the ambulance.
Will at Superwinch, I rang him and explained what we are up to and after a blizzard of specs and calls the ambulance has a winch and a bumper it fits on, not only that but a complete wiring setup and even fasteners just to save us some time..
Elite wheels and Tyres in Reading magic’d up a compete set of tyres and not just black, round with a hole in tyres but a set of BFGs which give us maximum puncture resistance.
Shane found a pile of kit for fighting men and it will be massively appreciated, warm kit and boots keep the lads in the fight. He also does a decent cuppa nut his garden shed building game is weak 
I got to spend and afternoon with the lofty wookie that is Ric, and then he steps in and gives us a fighting chance to run and hide if life goes a bit wonky.
The Latvian lads went above and beyond by finding a tow bar, building a bespoke roof rack, servicing the car, fitting it with blues and twos and fixing everything they can find fault with, it’s a massive amount of work, they even found an extra set of wheels for the what if.
Milner off road delivered new suspension and some spares so we dont have to shake people to bits
We now have a tent to act as a field hospital, a fair stockpile of med kit, armour and lids and the beginnings of a vehicle fit for work
A cigar smoking bloke filled the wagons tanks and that allows me to haul more stuff for kids in hospital.
I started today in England, was in Poland for Lunch and crossed into Ukraine for dinner/breakfast, thank God for coffee.
I think its 03:40 but it might be 04:40- time zones are a pain. Either way, bed time.
